I create adornments inspired by raw landscape, texture & transformation ~ balancing glamour with grit, softness with strength & luminous gemstones with moody, nature-driven hues

Jewelry is my love language ~ a form of communication, ritual & remembrance. I approach each piece as an energetic exchange, shaped through listening, intuition & presence. Every EJ Skalde design begins in conversation: personal symbolism, movement, color, elemental pull & what wants to be carried forward.
Each piece is designed & fabricated by hand using traditional artisan techniques. I work primarily in sterling silver & gold-filled metals for their conductivity, weight & enduring nature. Gemstones are chosen for resonance rather than ornament ~ selected by feel, frequency & quiet recognition.
The work exists beyond trend, created to be lived with over time. These are personal talismans ~ objects of protection, power & self-expression. Through careful listening & intuitive redesign, I take apart what is broken, outdated, or no longer working, reshaping it into something entirely new while honoring its history. From a single bead, stone, or pendant to an entire piece, materials are reimagined rather than erased.
